Malmö is the third-largest city in Sweden, and forms part of the Øresund Region, a region shared between Denmark (Zealand) and Sweden (Skåne). Thanks to the Øresund Bridge, Malmö and Copenhagen are separated by only a 40 minute train ride. Malmö is one of a few cities in the region of Skåne that offer ferries to many destinations in the Baltic Sea.
Malmö Harbour sits just a few kilometers north of Malmö's city center. From Malmö, you can catch one of Finnline's frequent ferries to Lübeck (Travemünde Port) in Northern Germany.
